How To Apply:
Admission Procedure
MDI uses CAT for short listing candidates for all the above programmes.
IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the programme.
Candidates have to appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT) to be conducted by the IIMs. Please refer www.catiim.in
Foreign/NRI/PIO applicants can apply by submitting valid GMAT scores (taken not later than October 2012). NRI applicants residing in India during the period of admissions process i.e. July-December 2012 will have to appear in CAT.GOI guidelines will be applicable in determining the NRI status of the applicant.
Final selection process will consider performance in the CAT / GMAT and subsequent Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
Candidate must apply separately for NMP (EPGPM)
Candidates can apply for NMP (EPGPM) either through CAT or GMAT

Management Development Institute (MDI) is a business school in India. It was established in 1973 and is located in Gurgaon, a commercial hub near the Indian capital of New Delhi.
Management Development Institute was formed as an autonomous body in 1973, in collaboration with several global institutions like UNDP, UNIDO, World Bank and ILO, with an initial grant received from KFW, West Germany, and with the active support of Industrial Finance Corporation of India (IFCI). T. N. Kapoor was the first Director. The Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM) was started in 1994.
